This can be a slippery term subject to much debate. Is a service just another term for a process, or it something specific, as in TOGAF meta-model? In other words, if we think of "services to the business" (e.g. Print Services), are those services simply things that IT provide, are they perhaps just (support) processes themselves or are they, perhaps, the outputs that are supplied by other processes?
Services tend to be common in Enterprise Architecture but not so much in Business Process Management.
